Arlo was built on years of experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across London and the surrounding areas.
Every project and every client is different. Some arrive with a clear vision from the outset, others prefer a more collaborative approach as ideas develop throughout the process.
Our role is to work alongside you, understand what matters most to your business, and deliver a project that feels straightforward, well managed and enjoyable from beginning to end.

Upgrades, reconfiguration and modernisation of existing commercial spaces. Works phased around your operations, dust and noise contained, disruptive trades scheduled out of hours. Your business keeps working while the space transforms.

Design & Build
End to end coordination from concept through completion. Because designer and contractor are the same business, what is agreed at tender is exactly what is delivered on site. One contract, one accountable team.

Responsive delivery for smaller projects, alterations, phased and ad hoc works. Partitioning, decoration, joinery and repairs, handled with the same discipline and finish quality as our major projects.

Dilapidations & Reinstatement
Lease ending? We price directly against the landlord's schedule of dilapidations and deliver CAT A reinstatement to your exit date. A straightforward, well managed route out of your lease obligations.

The gallery that
never closed.
A full refurbishment of a working Mayfair gallery. Lighting, casework, flooring and decoration, delivered zone by zone with containment built and struck each night, while the doors stayed open to the public and the collection stayed on the walls.
Visitors never knew a build was happening. I've never seen a contractor manage that.

Meet the founder
From the tools up.
Josh Day started out on the tools as a carpenter before progressing through site management, project management and divisional management roles. Fifteen years delivering commercial offices, co-working spaces, campuses and high end interiors throughout London and the surrounding areas.
That background gives him a rare dual perspective: what the drawings say, and what it actually takes on site to build them properly. It still shapes the way every Arlo project runs today.
